This Vintage Version of Cruising has been adjusted with a K_Tone Kodachrome color LUT, adjusted to 12 Frames per second, camera motion, 16mm film grain, scratch and damaged overlays, and old recording audio processing effects.
Cruising is a personal experimental animation created as a music video. I selected this after listening to a collection of a friends digital music and this song reminded me of the beach. Cruising is based on cruising down the beach and the characters, concepts, and movies that come to mind. Friends and family provided some of the cast members. Characters were created or augmented in Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. Buildings were drawn in Adobe Illustrator. Several of my multimedia illustrations were scanned and animated. The animation is created in Adobe After Effects. Sound effects were edited through Adobe Audition. The intro music and title song Cruising is by Tim Wampler.
